River To Tap's Construction Services Team is made up of personnel with experience in most areas of Construction Management and Construction Inspections. Our construction and construction services experience includes a variety of projects including water and wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, storm drainage systems, roadways and trails, utilities, parking areas and airport runways. R2T provides Construction Services in an at-risk (CMr) and advisory capacity (CMa).

Below the fold:

The planning and design phases are critical times where design decisions significantly impact project feasibility, delivery time and project cost. R2T provides value engineering, constructability reviews and preliminary cost estimates during this phase of the project to help identify cost inefficiencies, minimize schedule durations, and optimize the overall value of a project. During the procurement phase, the R2T team continues to be an integral part of the project team by reviewing contract and bid documents for clarity and accuracy and by assisting the owner in pre-selection of contractors.

The construction phase presents the greatest amount of exposure to risk for the owner. Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities are two ways of reducing this risk. To assure project quality, R2T Quality Staff monitor and document quality-related construction field activities to assure the owner the established Quality Standards specified in the contract documents are being met. Project Control is another method of reducing risk to the owner. R2T Project Control services assure the owner the project is efficiently and effectively managed. These services include: maintenance of project correspondence, conducting progress meetings, handling submittals and requests for information, documentation of project progress, review of pay requests and change requests, schedule reviews and schedule updates.

As a project nears completion, R2T’s Construction Services focus on project closeout and start-up activities. This includes development of punchlists, resolution of outstanding issues, review and analysis of claims or disputed issues, O&M and record drawing compilation, equipment start-up and testing, and owner training.
